This is a great family mountain. Not too big. Kids can go off on their own and parents don't need to worry. Extremely friendly staff. The down side is their spring carnival. While it's lots of fun, the prizes are awful. Leftover stuff from Mountain Dew--hardly worth the time and effort on participants part to make what you think is an award winning sled and costume to get this as gifts are pretty dissapointing.

We're skiing powpow! The back of the mountain is mostly untracked and boot high or more! Fantastic!

Skied on 12/27 with my son, Very nice little mountain experience. Good trails and lift system for beginners and intermediates, but ok even for the more advanced, some fun cruisers. No lines and good value.

Peak resorts has done a nice job with this place. The lodge is beautiful and people are friendly. If this is how they do things then Mt Snow and Attitash should be looking up.

I go there every year with my school, and though the trails are pretty easy I enjoy it very much. There food (while a little pricey) is always pretty good. there lodge is good and has cubbies for extra stuff or a backpack. the lifts arent the fastest but the lines are fast and its not a huge mountain, even the quad is only 4 minutes, tops, and the staff is always friendly.

i remember the first time i went to crotched was was because wachusett closed their parking laot, and it was GREAT. There are litteraly no lift lines, never ice, insane terrain parks, and great conditions. While it doesnt have crazy insane trails like killington and sunday river, it is still a great mountain and i love it.

Slow lifts, they need an express quad; but the place is great. I can't wait for them to expand the summit. The never long lift lines make up for the lift speed. Great Terrain Park.

My boys and I have been going to CM for 3 years now and we love it. They always have the best snow conditions, the shortest lift lines (never more than a few minutes wait even on the busiest weekend), the most spots available in the lodge for lunch time and free cubbies to stash your stuff downstairs. You simply can't find a better skiing value. Also their rental gear is topnotch. Can't keep my 12 yr old in boots that fit, but I'm glad as he's progressed very fast using their gear. I can't convince my friends to try it because they don't believe a small area can have that much to offer, their loss!

Well it re-opened in 2003, so as you can guess: it is very modern.
It is a small mountain in the monadnocks, but it has decent lifts, 2 terrain parks (love terrain park is crazy), steeps, moguls, races, great snowmaking, and great grooming. This is my first year going here. I like it.
