Not a good place for toddlers to learn.... especially after a new snow fall. Grooming takes for ever even though this is a small local's mountain. Staff needs to work on grooming the blue and green trails early on.

I have skied at over 30 different mountains in my life and Majic Mountain is a throw back to the way skiing and riding should be. Majic Mountain is the type of place you want to take your kids to so that they know this is what skiing is about. Slower pace, freindly people who love snow as much as their guests, and an affordable price for the family. You should not have to sell a kidney to take your family skiing. Majic Mountain is a hidden gem and anyone who wants to find out what skiing and riding is really about should definately make the trip.

Magic Mountain is my "home mountain" so I am a little biased when it comes to the mountain, but, I still love it compared to most of the other mountains I have boarded on. Granted it is tiny by comparrison, but it's really steep, has lots of great tree runs, and cliffs to jump off of. The "terrain park" ( lol ) is a bunch of hand made rails, that my friends and I actually constructed in our welding lab at school, but they're fun. It's definitley a beginner mountain and I wouldn't say it's a destination resort, but it's got a great family atmosphere for locals and visitors to the area. It's worth your $25 for a lift ticket!

Wonderful Mountain. Great Family Atmosphere. Go there and be treated like a person not just another dollar in their pocket. Its close to Twin Falls and offers any experiance you want. WR
