Only 37 miles from the Spanish capital Madrid, Puerto Navacerrada also lays claims to one of the best trail length to uplift ratios in Spain, and much of that uplift by chairs rather than the normal drags.

The terrain is divided in to two sections – ‘High’ and ‘Low’. Neither is particularly expansive nut it’s the High Zone that most serious skiers head to, with all the terrain suited to intermediate level skiers and offering the maximum 1200 foot vertical. The resort’s slalom stadium is here, home to the only black run.
