Went there in late March 2008 for one day of skiing. It is very close to Cranbrook so easily accessible by an Air Canada flight. I was tying it in with a tour of ski areas.
Almost picture perfect weather with a snowstorm the night before and sunny skies in the morning. Just a strong wind was left behind but the ski area is somewhat sheltered with the exception of about 2/3 the way up the North Star express quad.
Great powder for an easterner. It was Easter weekend yet not much of a crowd. They are excellent runs here. There are loads of mogul runs on the right side of the ski map and they are longer than they appear on the map. The terrain is great. All below the tree line.
My biggest complaint is the traversing required to get to many good runs on the right side of the ski map. Not a huge deal but it is also required at the bottom of the runs. A new lift would be great. High speed quad please. A small restauant at the top would be nice as well.
Nice base area. The view is quite nice over a wide valley across to a distant line of peaks. Closer in alpine view in the other direction.

Great Skiing and Boarding - Beware super busy on long weekends all the
familys from Calgary there- Weekdays are awesome , no lines, no roughed
up tracks, love the pub-great food, Only problem is when its busy the only way to the main chair lift is a narrow pass that gets congested and icy on busy days -Accidents waiting to happen-Otherwise a great place to
ski or board lota of intermediate and expert -The staff are friendly
that goes for the town as well -lots of ski in -out condos. For the skiers, this is one of the few places that I've fund that the skiers far outnumber the boarders, and lots of us middle-agers as well

It is raining all weekend, the snow is totally soaked, skiing is awful, snow is sticky. don't bother skiing there now, the slopes are ruined by the wet , warm weather. crappy snow now.

we stayed over the new year and the snow conditions were great the runs were well groomed and all the runs were open for the 10 days that we were there. We stayed at the Trickle Creek Hotel which was excellent with its ski in and ski out facility the rooms were a high standard and the resturant had a good varied menu which you could also have as take aways the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle bus to the nearby shops "Downtown" but this is a small shopping area great deli and two supermarkets but not suitable for serious shoppers. This is a great place for intermeadiate skiers and there are some good runs to challenge you. This was our first time in Canada and we would love to go back the only down side was the four hour transfer which turned into a seven hour transfer on the way home due to blocked roads and our reps were not very good at giving information e.g. what time we would be being picked up but the hotel staff are well informed. p.s. the two outdoor tubs are great for aching bones.

Great Resort.

Good on mountain facilities, 75 runs, 11 lifts, good begginner area, varied terrain, terrain park, 2 great on mountain restauraunts/bars, lots of ski in, ski out lodgings, great for families, lots of space, no lift lines, great powder, good value for money. Definately would go again, a little hidden gem. Only downside is the access to Kimberley, 4 hours from Calgary, which is the closest Major airport. This though is about to change when the local Kimberley Cranbrook airport becomes the Canadian Rockies International Airprt, completion 2007.
