Mild temperatures have made daytime riding a treat, with Wintergreen Resort advising guest to "leave your heavy coat at home and come ski and ride mid-week on the mountain."

Wintergreen offers 25 trails with a machine groomed surface, and four lifts will be running today.

Olympian Jonny Moseley arrives on Sunday to serve as guest emcee for the area's Freestyle's Doublecross. A spokesman said the area will resume snowmaking when nighttime temperatures are favorable.
