It has been a long struggle this season, but finally all ski areas throughout the Heartland are fully open. It’s the latest that old timers associated with the Midwest snowsports industry can remember for all areas finally getting fully open.
The good news is that winter appears to be here for awhile, and snowmaking conditions couldn’t be much better. Ski areas across Ohio – Mad River, Alpine Valley, Snow Trails, Brandywine and Boston Mills – that were closed a little over a week ago are open again.
