All Together Now In the Ziller

Another group of ski resorts have decided they no longer exist as separate places and are now all one. This time its about ten villages in Austrias Ziller Valley, most famous of which is the
Tux glacier ski area and Mayrhofens neighbour
Finkenberg.
Theyre now all called Ski and Glacier World Zillertal 3000. You can ski between the three reasonably well, although its a shuttle bus up to the Tux lifts. The areas stats are immediately three times more impressive which works well for international marketing. However there might be practical problems if, for example, you stay in Finkenberg and want to try out the local toboggan slopes, youll find theyre actually a bus ride up the valley in Tux.
