The Cookie Kids Fest is coming up March 13-15 at Beaver Creek. Activities abound on the slopes and at the base area. Cookie Magazine will feature an advance movie screening of Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who! There will also be snowglobe making, scavenger hunts, an ice skating party, ski races, and ski helmet decorating.

Beaver Creek is also offering some spring deals to get you out on the slopes, and in the Colorado sunshine, after a spectacular season of snow. The deal is that you get a free night of lodging and a free day of skiing, if you book three days and three nights. It's based on four people in a two-bedroom condo at Kiva. Prices start at $627.
