Big Powderhorn, located in the UP’s` Big Snow Country, is celebrating the coming of spring with a slopeside Hawaii Fest Saturday, March 8. It will be tropical fun on the slopes with an egg toss while skiing and riding, a penguin race, and lots of swag to give away; bikinis and Speedos are optional. So far this season they have received over 12 feet of snow. Conditions are near perfect.
