Feb 11, 2008 By Shannon Luthy
The resort is offering a family deal, where kids 12 and under get to ski free and stay free. You'll get a night of lodging and another day of lift tickets for free, if you buy three or more nights of lodging and lift tickets. You'll also get a Beeline Lift Ticket which means you get access to the lifts 15 minutes earlier than the public at the American Eagle. You'll also get your own lift line at Copper's major lifts with this package. There are a few restrictions and blackout periods, but central reservations can help you with all of the details by calling 888-350-1544.
Copper Mountain is well over the 200-inch mark for the season so far, thanks to a very snowy February. Copper Mountain is 100 percent open with 2,465 acres of skiing and riding terrain.
Copper's Tucker Mountain Snowcats also are open. Tucker Mountain and Copper Bowl add access for expert skiers and riders to over 273 acres and 1,200 vertical feet in Copper's high alpine back bowls. You can get to the terrain by hiking or taking a free snowcat ride, which is on a first-come, first-served basis. Conditions may vary and are subject to changes based on weather, and avalanche conditions.
