Sunlight, located just outside of Glenwood Springs, along I-70, has a package deal that gets you a soak in the Hot Springs Pool, one of the world's largest pool of its kind. The Ski Swim Stay package starts at $90 per person. It includes your lodging for one night, two adult lift tickets, and two adult Hot Springs Pool passes. Soaking in the world famous hot springs is something you'll want to do after your day on the slopes.
Sunlight is a family-friendly resort that is one of the Colorado Gems. All 67 runs are easily accessible, and funnel back to the main lodge area. It's easy to keep track of the kids.
The Hot Springs Pool is the largest mineral hot springs in the world, measuring over two blocks long, surrounded by the steep Rocky Mountains, and along the banks of the Colorado River. The mineral waters are good for your skin. The Ute Indians knew this and thought of the springs as sacred healing waters, calling them Yampah, or "big medicine."
A variety of lodging options are available, from basic rooms to cabins, to some of Glenwood's century-old historic hotels, such as the Hotel Colorado and the Hotel Denver.
