Hoodoo Mountain Resort may be short in stature – just 1,035 vertical feet – and size – only 806 acres – but it is long on giving skiers and snowboarders an economic break. Check out the resort's Tightwad Tuesdays, when anyone regardless of age can ride the lifts from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $19 (regular price for these marathon sessions is $42). Or you can get 2-for-1 deals – i.e., one person pays, the other gets a free ride – on Thursdays.
