You have to act quickly. The Buttermilk Deluxe package is good Jan. 14 through Feb. 1 for skiers ages three and older, and snowboarders ages five and up.

The deal is a full-day private lesson with a Buttermilk pro for you and up to four of your friends or family members at no additional charge. The package is worth $690, but you get it for $283. It includes equipment from Four-Mountain Sports at Butermilk, a lift ticket, and video analysis. You also get some coupons for discounts on lunch, logo wear, and ski portraits.

You have to have a reservation, and you have to make it at least 48 hours in advance. The number to call is 970-920-0788.

You'll get your pro instructor at the time of booking, and you have to meet the person at Buttermilk for the lesson. The coupons you receive are only good through Feb. 1. The equipment, lift ticket, and coupons are only good for the primary guest. Helmets are recommended for everyone, and required for kids 12 and under.
