Every year in the Duluth, MN & Superior, WI areas (the "Twin Ports," mind you), the Duluth/Superior Alpine Club holds the biggest ski swap in Northern Minnesota & Wisconsin.
The DSAC Ski Swap brings together area ski shops and local enthusiasts to buy and sell gear at deep discounts. You can pick up a new pair of boots or skis at a decent price, or you can get a new snowboard or snowboard boots (yeah, even though it's titled a "ski shop," boarders are more than welcome). There's also softgoods such as jackets and pants as well for sale.
