The end of September heralds the last of the reduced season pass rates for many Montana resorts.
Whitefish Mountain Resort, formerly known as Big Mountain, usually ends their season pass sale in mid-May, but this winter they extended their spring sale rates until Sept. 30 in honor of its 60th anniversary. Big Sky honors their sale, saving $75 on an adult pass, until Sept. 30. The Lone Peak Pass, which garners buyers lift privileges at both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin, goes for $1,599 through the end of the month before it jumps up $100.
Bridger Bowl offers their Ski Mambo Combo for families until the end of September also. For every one adult season pass purchased, the family receives gifts cards according to the value of the kids’ passes: $50 gift cards for each children’s pass and $100 gift cards for each junior pass. Showdownalso runs their sale, tallying up to $40 off, until September’s end.
Other resorts extend their early sale rates an additional month or more. Lookout Mountain ends their season pass sale Oct. 31 while Blacktail Mountain ends theirs the following day. Red Lodge continues their early season sale until Nov. 21.
