Fries has spent 34 years in the ski business, starting at Waterville Valley under Tom Corcoran, and most recently as owner of Bolton Valley. He has a real appreciation for New England skiing, and his presence at Ragged can only mean good things for the area and its skiers. Ragged has been upgrading its water supply and snowmaking system, and renovating its base lodge and surroundings over the summer.
