Gems Offer Shining Deals

The Colorado Gems Card is free and it gives you deals at the eight smaller "gems" resorts in the state. This includes discounts on adult and child lift tickets as well as lodging. A-Basin and SolVista Basin even offer a chance for a free day on the snow, on certain dates.

You can sign up for the free Colorado Gems card on the Colorado Ski Country USA Web site, or by calling them at (303) 837-0793. This card can't be shared with a friend. You have to get your own. You also have to get a new one each season.

The Colorado Gems resorts are: Arapahoe Basin, Eldora, Loveland, Monarch, Powderhorn, Ski Cooper, SolVista Basin, and Sunlight.
