Taking the family on a Heartland ski trip has never been more affordable.
Granite Peak, Wisconsin’s largest ski area, has a 700-foot vertical drop. The ski area is hosting a Family Festival February 1-3. Lodging deals abound throughout the Wausau area, and there’s free ski and snowboard rental for a family of four, and a free child’s lift ticket with each paid adult. The weekend event also includes fireworks, horse drawn sleigh rides, live entertainment, and, of course, a brat cookout. You’re deep in cheesehead country here.
