Unless a major snowstorm erupts, which is unlikely, the last day of skiing at Terry Peak, located in the Black Hills of South Dakota and the Midwest’s tallest ski area topping out at over 7,200 feet above sea level, is slated for this Sunday, March 25.
Come on out and enjoy the last day rites and catch the second annual Powder Pedal Classic; a mountain bike race on snow and loads of fun to watch. Grab your skis, boards and don’t forget the sunscreen. This is mountain skiing in the Heartland and you can burn just like you do out west this time of year.
