Unless a major snowstorm erupts, which is unlikely, the last day of skiing at Terry Peak, located in the Black Hills of South Dakota and the Midwest’s tallest ski area topping out at over 7,200 feet above sea level, is slated for this Sunday, March 25.

With over five feet of snow received since the beginning of February Terry Peak is in great shape with some of the best snow in recent years as they head towards the end of the season. There’s still a lot of skiing and riding left for March.

Skiing and riding conditions are as good as they’ve been all season with the over two feet of snow Terry Peak received in three days right before President’s Weekend. There are currently 22 trails and two glades open.
