Resort still making snow, plans on being open through March.
The weather may be warming, but Camelback isn’t looking to close early. The resort still is making snow as temperatures have dipped into the lower 20s on the summit of Camelback Mountain.
“All the slopes are in great shape,” said Camelback's Bill Toye. “We have plenty of snow for March skiing and riding.”
The resort is changing its hours to Daylight Savings Time to keep the season going. Its new hours are 8 a.m to 7 p.m., and an afternoon ticket (3-7 p.m.) is only $9.99.
