Edmonton's Sunridge opened a new lift this winter.
Sunridge has been adding to their vertical over the past several years by expanding upwards. The ski hill trucked in thousands of feet of dirt to build up their vertical on top of Porcupine Hill. Last year, the new Porcupine Hill opened, adding 65 feet of vertical to the hill.
This year, the newly installed triple chairlift carts skiers and riders to the top of Porcupine Hill. The new half million dollar lift, which was purchased from Red Mountain in B.C., retired the old Red T-Bar.
