Winter Returns to Ontario

By jd on January 17, 2007

Temperatures dropped to the -20 to -30 degree celsius range in Ontario overnight as Winter descended on Eastern Canada - reminding residents of what it's like to live in one of the coldest spots in the world.

Ski areas siezed the oppurtunity to make snow and did, building their bases and gradually expanding their terrain after a warm start to the season. Most areas were lightly dusted with snow although pockets of three to four inches were also reported in some areas.
