You play on what the gods give you and that's what Ontario's skiers and boarders are doing as the storms which pasted the Eastern province last week eased off, leaving some healthy base levels behind but nothing fresh to play in.
Blue Mountain checks in with a respectable 135-142 cm base with 9 of 14 lifts operating. Calabogie Peaks boasts a 46-51 cm base and is spinning all of its lifts.
