Mountain Creek resort in New Jersey gets on board the National Ski Areas Association’s Safety Awareness Week and is taking things a bit further.
It’s cranking out some serious deals to help guests and employees play it safe.

All safety equipment for purchase at Mountain Creek is on sale through Safety Awareness Week, which concludes Friday, Jan. 25. That means 15 percent off all helmets and 20 percent off all wrist guards, padded shorts, spine protection, padded hats and rail guards.

The repair shops also are offering deals, including 40 percent off binding tests and 25 percent off all edge sharpening and wax service.

Also, any guest who fires off correct answers to safety trivia questions will score free beverages in Mountain Creek’s restaurants and cafeterias.
