Although the weather so far this season has ski area operators jittery, predictions for the future are optimistic in New Hampshire. Thus far, most of the state’s areas have trail counts in the 50 percent to 65 percent range.

Last week’s big storm left all New Hampshire areas blanketed in powder with accumulations ranging from a high of two and a half feet from Wilderness in Dixville Notch down to Franconia Notch’s Cannon Mountain.
