You can get first tracks at Moonlight Basin before most skiers are finished drinking their coffee.
Saturday mornings at Moonlight Basin are different with the resort’s Backstage Powder Pass. The pass allows you to get first tracks before the lifts open to the general public. You'll practically have the mountain to yourself when Moonlight’s Powder Scouts guide you to fresh stashes.
The $75 per person fee lets you load the lifts at 8 a.m. and ski for two hours. The deal also includes an adult full day lift ticket, a hot breakfast sandwich, and Liquid Planet coffee at the Headwaters Grille. Space is limited. Call the SnowSports School at 406-995-7726 to book a tour.
