The giant Italian ski region, Dolomiti Superski, is conducting an awareness campaign urging caution on the slopes.
Everyone purchasing a skipass this winter receives a small brochure with tips and advice on correct ski and snowboard practice. The suggestions range from areas such as pre-skiing preparation and nutrition to the 12 FIS rules on correct slope behavior, as well as guidelines on how to act when involved in an incident on the slopes.
A poster displayed at all 50 skipass points of sale and at the lift facilities of the Dolomiti Superski region will remind you: "Skiing is fun. Be careful." Special ambassadors of this initiative are the two Italian ski champions Manuela and Manfred Mölgg from S. Vigilio di Marebbe.
