Saturday, March 4, is carnival day at Perfect North Slopes in southern Indiana and marks the end of the ski season. Events include the popular garbage bag race, decorated box race, fire hose race and the infamous slush pit.

Cold in Indiana overnight, but we don't need to tell you that if you're living there, do we? What we can also tell you is that all that cold turned to snow for Paoli Peaks... they're reporting four inches of new stuff.

Folks who ski and board around Lawrenceburg, Ind., are happy today after more than five inches of fresh powder landed on Perfect North Slopes overnight. The area, which has been taking advantage of cold temperatures to help make snow, immeidatley declared a snow day.
