Discounted Skiing During May At Brundage

By Paul Doherty on April 28, 2008

Thanks to a late-April powder dump and seasonably cold temperatures, Brundage Mountain is doing something they've never done before: offer skiing in May.

After receiving more than 10 inches of new snow April 19-26, resort managers decided to open the slopes for a bonus weekend - May 3-4 - plus one extra day - May 10. In celebration, they've also lowered the price of a full-day adult lift ticket to $40.

This winter was the second snowiest on record for the resort, bringing 428 inches over the course of the season. The record was set in the winter of 1998-99 with 430 inches.

Brundage Mountain is currently closed on weekdays, however if spring doesn't show up soon they may open for additional weekends in May.

OnTheSnow.com will continue to update snow conditions until the last resort closes this season. To find out if Brundage will open for additional weekends in May, and for updates on other resorts' spring-season status, bookmark OnTheSnow.com.
