High winds and stormy weather forced the closure of at least one Spanish ski area Friday as the promise of additional snowfall buoyed hopes for a successful ski weekend.
High winds closed Sierra Nevada ski area Friday, and light snow was falling over the area. La Molina reported that light snow was also falling on their mountain, with another 7 cms forecast in the week to come.
