A 6-day snowboard camp for teens is set for mid-March at Bear Mountain.
High Cascade Snowboard Camp is setting up shop at Bear Mountain next month and is inviting park rats between the ages of 13 and 17 to participate. The six-day HCSC Bear Camp, which takes place March 16-21, is intended for boy and girl snowboarders who really want to improve their terrain park moves; park newbies are discouraged. The camp, which is limited to 24 attendees, costs $995 ($895 for season-pass holders) and includes food, lodging, four days of coaching, various activities, and giveaways.
