Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort upholds its 14-year tradition by hosting "Customer Appreciation Day" on the final day of winter operations, April 21.
Skiers and riders of all ages can purchase a lift ticket for $20 and bid farewell until the snow returns next season. In support of a grassroots movement that began among Sierra Resort passholders a few years ago, all guests are encouraged to dress as pirates on the final day.
All proceeds raised from the day's lift ticket sales will be donated to sponsor local sports teams including South Lake Tahoe High School's baseball, softball, basketball and football teams, as well as High Sierra Soccer League, to name a few.
"Customer Appreciation Day is all about saying thank you. We want to show our most loyal guests that we value this community and are willing to support year round recreational opportunities for our kids," said John Rice, General Manager of Sierra Resort.
