Mt. Lemmon Sees Snowy Winter

Skiers and snowboarders at Mt. Lemmon ski area, located an hour from Tucson, Ariz., are reveling in packed powder conditions this winter. Snow has piled up for a base over 25 inches, making drivers on the Catalina Highway don chains after storms, but pleasing skiers.

All three lifts are running. Lift tickets are $35, and the hill is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call the snow report for an update on conditions: 520-576-1400.
