SkiWelt now can cover nearly half of its 250km (157 miles) of slopes with machine made snow.
The ongoing expansion of the snowmaking system in Austria’s SkiWelt, Austria's largest lift-linked ski area, now makes it possible to cover 110km (68 miles) of piste within three days of temperatures dropping low enough for snow production to begin. The region links eight resorts including Westendorf, Soll, Ellmau, and Scheffau.
