Obergurgl currently has a snow depth of 120cm (four feet) which should see it through to when prices fall next month.
Obergurgl, Austria’s highest traditional ski village with one of the longest seasons in the Alps, installed three new gondolas this winter. It also has one of the best snowfall records in the country.
Prices fall for lift tickets purchased in the resort after April 8 until the end of the season April 27. A six-day ticket drops by 10 percent from 205.50 Euros to 184.50 Euros.
An added attraction will be the Ski Finish ‘Snow, Fun and Fire’ celebration April 18-20, incorporating musical performance, nighttime fire shows on the snow, and other events.
