In recent years, the early season snow line at Alaska’s Eaglecrest resort has moved from the level of the lodge, which is located at 1100 feet above sea level, to approximately 1500 feet. This places the early season snow line above the bottom of the double chairlifts at Eaglecrest and has caused early season access problems.
