Damüls-Mellau is a ski area as versatile as it is big. The two ski areas Damüls and Mellau are linked ever since 2009 through the cable car connecting the peaks. Ski vacations to Damüls – Mellau are characterized by a high snow-reliability. Damüls lies on 1428 m altitude in the vally of the Argenbach (creek).

There is an average snowfall of 9.30 meters of fresh snow per season. Most of the time the many kilometres of pistes and ski tours are fairly well supplied with natural snow. The same applies to Mellau and the ski area also offers world cup slopes, a powder snow area as well as a snowboard fun park.

In case there is not enough snowfall, snow-making equipment is available. Going from the peak ridge to the Mellau Roßstelle is an extraordinary downhill slope that leads through a 120 m long skiing tunnel in the ski area Mellau.
