Czorsztyn is a village with more than 300 inhabitants, which lies in southern part of Lesser Poland Province. This little touristic village is popular in the winter as well as in the summer, among others thanks to touristic routes, walking routes and ski slopes. Nearby Czorsztyn there is a touristic region, Kraina Śpiącego Wulkanu (Sleeping Volcano Land), where is Ski Station Czorsztyn Ski situated. Skiers will find there a couple of interesting ski routes with different levels of difficulty, with T-bar and chair lifts. The whole resort is well-prepared; there are equipment rental, ski school and gastronomic bases. Ski routes are snowed and illuminated. Accommodation base of Czorsztyn is well-developed. Most of it is guest houses and guest rooms. In the village there are taverns and restaurants. Being in Czorsztyn it is worth visiting the ruins of a gothic castle and an ancient chapel. You can get to Czorsztyn only with the route 969, on which you have to get in the village Krośnica. The closest cities, through which it runs are Nowy Targ and Stary Sącz.
