Pros: RODS ( THE "MANAGER") INSANE BEHAVIOR WAS JUST SO COMICAL! A TOTAL JOKE!

Cons: EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING!

i want to start off by stating, i am not one to complain often, especially in public. im a low key girl, who understands that sometimes life throws you little curve balls, and u just gotta deal. NOT IN THIS CASE! i chose this area due to travel time, olny 1hr 30 min from nyc.. pretty sweet, i love conn. first time visting the litchfiied hills area ( beautiful) . we: my sis, her son( my nephew - he is 10 ) and my boyfriend wanted to plan a simple winter getaway,so we all decided SNOW TUBING! we do ski, and snowboard, we've been to MANY ski resorts! NEVER HAVE WE EVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE!! as soon as u pull up to this dump, i kinda got a bad vibe from the start when we parked! A TOTAL MESS! right across from a busy street, people parking where ever they pleased( witnessed a fight, someone got blocked in) . lets just get right to it... SNOW AMBUSH RUNNING for my life snow tubing! first off, the freakin' price!! COME ON ROD!!! U HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR A DOUBLE TUBE OR FAM TUBE ON TOP OF TICKET!! TOTAL COST 3 adults 1 kid = 170.00 ! ABSURD! FOR TUBING! I WISH I WOULD OF VIEWED RATES BEFORE HEADING HERE! o.k. so we paid, got on the convey belt to get up to the mt. OMG! bumpy, scary!! AGAIN been to PA, Ut, VT, upstate NY. got our fam tube, NOT ONE PERSON IN SIGHT to help us . OH, wait. they were workers, but u would not know because they have no badges, hats, anything to say that they work here. went down , we did pick up speed, it was Fast, and caught air, cool... RIGHT when we flew down,one of the "workers" screamed at me " get off, get off, before u get hit!!! i mean, we had to run out the tube! so much for waiting for the area to be clear. ZERO organzation! we wintnessed many people getting toppled over from people shooting down the mt. including my sis. we only went twice. we had enough. went to speak to the manager, told him what happened. oh, HE WAS THERE WHEN MY SIS GOT HIT, we thought he was a random guy telling my sis to " move out of the way", thats all he said! we tried getting our $$ back, or some kinda of refund, u know what even an apology! notta on all!! rod, handled this in such a horrible way. he laughed, and said" we have the best tubing, better than utah, HA!!! he was talking right in my sis face, being totally crazy, he made no sense! well, rod, u got the last laugh! u got our $$! DO NOT MAKE OUR MISTAKE! dont waste your money here, times are hard. we saved for this and got ripped! go to blue mt, pa if u want to tube near nyc!
