    Southern New England's Best Ski Area

    Pros: Family friendly, great snowsports school, excellent terrain park

    Cons: Can get crowded on the trails and in the lodge

    This ski area is a great place for an intro to snow sports or to tune your skills withut driving for 2+ hours. There are reasonably priced choices to learn and enjoy... Full review

    Great Learning Mountain

    Pros: Great variety of learning area terrain to teach on

    Cons: Bare loading areas on lifts

    Great for close, quick run in CT

    Pros: Tall mountain, easy to get to.

    Cons: A bit pricey, not a lot of variety

    This was my first trip to Sundown and I was not disappointed. The conditions on 1/13 were very good, packed powder... a tiny bit of ice but that didn't start becoming noticeable... Full review
