Wow, 40 inches at Mohawk? That rivals some of the mountains in Colorado! C'mon, let's keep it real. No place on the east cost has anything close to 40" average snow base.

Warmed up nicely to mid 40s on Tue 1.26.16 and the snow turned soft. Best night of the season.

Really nice day of skiing at Mohawk today. Although there was no fresh snow from this weekend's storm, they have done a great job of blowing snow and opening up as many trails as possible. No real ice today and minimal lift lines.

A much-needed little dump from Jonas on Saturday night 1.23.16 to add some natural snow to the mix. Gunbarrel best run on the hill tho all the racers gnarled it up by 4pm. Watch out for the wicked nasty sliders on Satan's Stairway. Snowborders should avoid Tom's Treat.

The snow was great! They had the makers blowing all day and powder all around. Only ice at the base but that makes sense.

Amazing snow, no idea how they are doing it but they are. Better conditions than Mt Snow or Stowe at the moment. Lifts are still slow and runs are short, but on the other hand the slopes were not crowded. Really fun day, glad we didn't drive further north this time.

Packed granular. Well groomed with little ice. Lift lines moved quick. Aside from the frigid temps, a good day of skiing!
