Mount Southington is a very family friendly place. If you live in CT you will always see someone you know. Southington is never packed and often there is no line for the ski lifts. But on another note Southington's faculty is very rude. Once I was in line waiting for my turn on the ski lift, when a boy about my age maybe younger gets hit by the ski lift. Instead of helping the young snowboarder up off the groud he curses at him. The boy was flustered. I found that very rude and digusting. Another thing I find bad about Southington is that I was very disapointed when I went on the "fastest Hill, Thunder Bolt" and it turned out to be nothing more than a blue!!! Overall I would come back to Southington though because it is so close and, there is always someone I know.
