I had an opportunity to stop in at Mohawk on a recent week night and here are my impressions about it:

No lines, inexpensive lift ticket price ($20 bucks), OK lodge, some fun runs

On the downside I found the rental equipment to be OK quality at best and still $30 dollars for a set on a
week night.
The conditions were slightly misrepresented-No packed powder was in sight- I saw loose granular and machine groomed slopes

The ski time vs. lift time ratio is not favorable - I timed it - it took 8 or so minutes to get to the top and literally 2 minutes to get down (and I am an advanced beginner).

Just be aware that when you visit here that the runs are short but it is a fun location to practice or to bring the family.
