Skiing at Mohawk was simply delightful. In addition to the pros listed above, the personnel were all courteous, friendly, and helpful. They have a great mix of expert, intermediate, and beginner trails and slopes. There is a mini-lodge on one slope that will save you the trek back to the main lodge. If you do go back to the main lodge, you can buy a reasonably priced lunch or snack. The hot cocoa was very good, with a choice of whipped cream, marshmellows, or both. (Unless you love sugar, you will want to choose just one or the other.) They had the cleanest bathrooms we ever saw at a ski area. The lodge is very busy, but comfortable enough for some parents to camp out to read while their kids were out having a blast.
