    Mammoth Review

Pros: Absolutely Massive, One of the few truely elite mountains

Cons: Dinning options were limited especially in the moderate price range

I spent MLK weekend at Mammoth Mountain. I hadn't been there in about 15 years and forgot how fantastic it is. Despite not having new snow in 3 weeks, the mountain had... Full review

    Axamer- Lizum (Innsbruck) Review

Pros: Largest and Most Challenging Area Near Innsbruck

Cons: Not Very Big & Far From Innsbruck

I visited Innsbruck the week of New Years in 2005 and skiied a couple of days at Axamer Lizum. It was about an hour bus ride from the town center to the... Full review

    Innsbruck (Nordpark) Review

Pros: Mountain rises directly out of a big city

Cons: Limited Terrain (Size & Variety)

I visited Innsbruck the week of New Years in 2005. The Nordpark ski area, which is located across Inns River from the old town center, is the only ski area that opperates... Full review

A BAD day at WORK is BETTER than a GOOD day at Bear Mountain.

Pros: It is a 2 1/2 hour drive from my house

Cons: Fewer runs and more wanna-be snowboarders than overrated Snow Summit

The only resort that I had been to in Big Bear was Snow Summit prior to last year. As disappoited as I had always been with the lack of challenging terrain, how... Full review

Very good resort, but suffers from being overshadowed by it's superior neighbor: Alta

Pros: Very good extreme terrain, good powder on the back side

Cons: Icy and shadowy frontside, Lacks the variety of extreme terrain of Alta

Overall, a very good resort, but it gets overshadowed by Alta's superiority, especially with Alta being just up the road. There are many good runs off of the Tram, and I've had... Full review
