I agree if you are not wearing a helmet you should be. It may not protect you if smash into a tree at 30mph, but it doesn't hurt you by wearing one. Would you put your kid or yourself on a bike or motorcycle without one? If you answered yes, I have no comment. You are probably going faster on skis than a bike. Makes sense to me. Put a helmet on you only look like a dufus if your not wearing one.

We are pumped - only a week until Opening Day:DDD I was talking to Steve Wry (Mr. Mtn. Ops.) and he says this looks like one of the best openings in a long, long time. We've had considerable natural snowfall and great snowmaking temps. Our Snowmakers have been very busy the last two weeks. Check out the webcam on Wednesdays at 12:15 pm. You will see some wackiness from the Snow Sport University crew along with yours truly and some of our co-workers. This is such an awesome deal the first year that we went, we spent 4 times that amount for our family of five to go for a week. If you have kids this is the place to go in new england. Family atmosphere, never crowded, the best ski instruction anywhere, great staff, and an awesome mountain.
Can't wait to try out the new glades at Smuggs, Smuggs has the best glades in the east. Lets pray for another big snow year for Northern VT. I will let you know how it is XMAS week.
I hope Wachusset Maountain doesn't take all the riders to the cleaners to use their new terrain parks. The kids always have looked forward to the pipe.
