I banged my head once on the side of a box in the terrain park after i fell of it. had it not been for my helmet, i would have had a concussion but luckily all i had was a little head ache.
I'm sure that was a frightening freak accident, but that is no reason to stop going to Whistler. It is still one of the best resorts in the world. And the gondola completely reopened on Christmas Eve; they fixed that broken tower really fast. Good Work!
Does anyone know what is going to happen to the Excalibur Gondola now? Are they going to close it and fix the broken tower and then reopen the gondola this season? Or will they just close it for the rest of the ski season and fix it over the summer? Or at worst will they possibly even take down the lift?
