I love Elk, but you have a point - the night skiing is not the best. Is the business there ti support opening more trails? It's hard to say. One of the reasons I like Elk so much is the lack of crowds seen at places like Camelback. If you make it too nice...............
Are you going to update your rating of Elk? I am excited to get up there soon - I can believe the conditions would be great with all the cold weather they are having. Maybe if you give Elk a better downhill terrain rating it will rival Eagle Rock! What a joke - Eagle Rock #2 in PA... Until there are 10 ratings from someone other than anonymous they should not qualify to get ranked in the state. I have no idea what value there is to a high ranking on this site and I have never been to Eagle Rock, but from what I can tell I am guessing it does not contain PA's 2nd best downhill terrain.
