I've always dreamed of skiing in the summer in Australia or New Zealand and then I woke up and realized that I don't have the money or the time to attempt such a journey.
I know what you are feeling I live in Florida and I have only skied out east but I loved it and this coming Christmas I am hopefully going to Keystone, Breckenridge and Vail. So I can't wait!
That is just a shame. One of my friends had a friend who was skiing and hit a tree and broke his neck. He was in a coma and his family eventually pulled the plug. He wasn't wearing a helmet and it was a tragety.
I think this would be awesome to try however something tells me that it will take awhile for these to get into rental shops for the average person to give them a shot.
If I had the Money to spend on a $1,000 pair of skis I would do it without any hestation however my old skis are just fine for now and I am willing to wait until next season to get new skis.
I am still fairly sheltered when it comes to the ski world sniceI have been confined to the East but my top picks would probably be Deer Valley, Whislter, and Breckenridge. Maybe even Zermatt if I wanted to go to Europe.
I have played the Wii and xbox versoins and the xbox isn't nearly as good as the wii however it is still an okay game. I would spend my money on something else but, then of course ski games aren't my favorite so just do whatever you think. Also you could also rent it if you really just wanted to try it.
Makes me wish I lived in Colorado or anyplace where it snows.
